Can you share some background with the audience, highlighting aspects not commonly known from your social media presence?
I haven't shared my story much due to some unique personal challenges. I used to avidly pursue happiness, believing my career success dictated it. However, this led me to measure success solely by my income, which didn't align with my desire for meaningful contribution.
When did you realize the impact of this perspective?
The realization hit a few years before the pandemic. Working for a digital marketing company with a poor work-life balance triggered health issues and burnout. Completing my coaching certification coincided with the world shutting down, allowing me to leave that toxic environment and focus on my coaching business.
Can you provide some background on your corporate experience before transitioning to coaching?
I spent over ten years in the corporate world, primarily in digital marketing. I enjoyed hands-on roles, managing projects and product suites. While I initially aspired to manage people, the competitive nature and a sense of misalignment led me to question my corporate path.
What motivated you to transition from corporate to coaching?
The pandemic increased competition online, impacting work-life balance. Dissatisfaction with my job and a desire for change pushed me to leave the corporate world. As I completed my coaching certification, I started coaching friends and acquaintances, discovering the deep satisfaction and energetic alignment it brought.
Reflecting on your journey, what advice would you give your younger self?
I'd advise my younger self to concentrate on personal growth, to slow down and turn inward. Focusing on personal happiness and fulfillment is crucial, as it enables you to share love, care, and passion in ways you never imagined, fostering authenticity in various aspects of life.
How did this transformation impact other areas of your life?
The transformation significantly influenced my relationship journey. Facing challenges, including divorce before 30, prompted me to focus on emotional intelligence, growth mindset, vulnerability, and addressing sabotaging behaviors. Turning inward helped me overcome fears and find love, motivating me to assist other women on a similar journey.
What aspects of your story resonate with your soulmate clients?
I connect with clients through relatable experiences such as divorce, dating online in your late thirties, and societal pressures on the younger generation. By sharing these stories, I build trust, fostering lasting relationships that help clients move forward.
Have recent experiences shaped your growth and brand evolution?
Yes, recently, I faced a health challenge with a breast cancer diagnosis. Although everything is fine now, this experience prompted me to prioritize my well-being and temporarily shift my focus from coaching. It strengthened connections with clients and those around my business.
Moving into the realm of manifestation, what are you currently calling in, both personally and professionally, whether it's for the next year or a more long-term vision?
Manifestation is a significant practice for me, particularly aligned with my core values, such as making a difference. I aim to make a difference in women's lives and desire more opportunities to reach and impact them. While the specific number of women is open-ended, I want to ensure I reach those who need my guidance the most, whether it's a hundred or a thousand, leaving the time frame open for unfolding possibilities.
In terms of cultivating an abundance mindset, what rituals and routines ground and empower you for the day?
I dedicate thirty minutes to an hour in the morning for meditation and journaling. Reflecting on three grateful moments from the previous day helps me track progress and reinforce a positive mindset. Additionally, incorporating regular workouts contribute to mental clarity and set a positive tone for the day.
Are there any non-negotiables you adhere to for ensuring a brighter day?
I do my best to spend quality time with my husband before starting our work days. Whether it’s around our table for breakfast or a 30 second hug before he rushes out the door, the moment grounds me and serves as a reminder to what is truly important in our lives.
How do you intentionally create balance in your life, especially in the face of busyness?
Setting boundaries with myself is a key practice, particularly combating people-pleasing and perfectionism that have been challenges throughout my life. When life gets unexpectedly busy, shifting the focus inward helps maintain balance.
Given the depth of the dating and relationship coaching realm, there are numerous areas which overlap. However, the central theme revolves around evolutionary self transformation, emotional intelligence, and the importance of trusting one's intuition. This theme is something I've leaned into in my own life, and it's a valuable aspect I plan to incorporate more into my business, recognizing its significance for clients working on similar aspects.
